Position Title: SEO & PPC Manager
Location: Virtual, remote role - meet 4 x per year, mostly in London, UK. Candidates must be based in the UK.
Reports To: Head of SEO/Search and Client Services Director.
Work alongside: SEO copywriting team, backlink building and digital PR team, and CRO specialists.
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience.

HQ is based in Newbury, Berkshire, however the rest of the 10-strong team are spread across the south of the UK all the way from Bournemouth to Bristol. Location does not matter, but mandatory quarterly team meets tend to be in the South, such as London and Brighton, therefore candidates have to be willing to travel to these locations.
We’re looking for an experienced SEO & PPC Manager to join our growing team. This is a virtual role for a digital marketing professional who can confidently develop and execute integrated search strategies across both organic and paid channels.
You’ll be responsible for managing SEO and PPC campaigns that drive quality traffic, grow visibility, and generate measurable ROI. Ideally, you’ll bring experience in the retail/e-commerce space and understand how to deliver performance at scale.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone with at least 4 years of experience in digital marketing, who thrives in a fast-paced, data-driven environment. We strive on being a forward-thinking agency, therefore a passion for keeping up with and foreseeing trends and best practices is crucial.
Working with the Head of SEO/Search to develop and execute integrated SEO and PPC strategies in line with client goals
Manage and optimise campaigns across Google, Social Media platforms, LLMs and other relevant platforms
Collaborate with content, design, and dev teams to support campaign goals
Conduct comprehensive SEO & technical audits and support devs with implementation
Guide content production based on keyword strategy and search trends
Monitor organic performance, site health, and visibility across search engines
Collaborate with content, off-page and CRO teams to ensure SEO best practices are implemented
Design and optimise paid search campaigns (Google/Meta/TikTok) to drive qualified traffic
Perform keyword research, ad copywriting, and bid strategy planning
Monitor performance daily and adjust strategies to maximise ROAS and conversion rates
Carry out backlink audits and develop backlink strategies to increase client rankings
Implement backlink building, with the support of our backlink building team member
Understand how digital PR fits into backlink building and develop digital PR strategies alongside the PR team
Carry out backlink clean ups where required
Use GA4, GSC, Google Ads, and Looker Studio to track and report on SEO and PPC KPIs
Create monthly performance reports with insights and clear recommendations
Use A/B testing and conversion tracking to continuously improve campaign effectiveness
Be extremely familiar with Ahrefs and understand how to get the best out of the platform’s tools
Provide regular performance reports to senior management, including insights and recommendations
Leverage product feeds and merchant centre data to improve performance
Manage seasonal retail campaigns, sales-driven keyword targeting, and competitor insights
Understand the nuances of shopper behaviour, product landing pages, and retail CRO
Keep abreast of the latest SEO, PPC and digital marketing trends, algorithm updates, and best practices
Implement changes and updates to strategies in response to industry shifts
Be vocal on LinkedIn, in line with Monday Clicks’ own marketing strategy and activity
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field
At least 3+ years experience in an SEO & PPC role with a track record of successful search campaigns that have increased leads and sales (ideally within the retail industry)
Extremely strong understanding of SEO tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, Looker Studio, Screaming Frog) and how to use them effectively
Strong technical SEO and off-page SEO knowledge
Excellent analytical, organisational, and project management skills
Strong communication skills and commercial awareness with the ability to present complex information clearly to non-technical stakeholders
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for SEO purposes is desirable
Experience and knowledge in international SEO and multi-language websites
Knowledge of other digital marketing disciplines, such as PPC, Amazon optimisation, social media, and content marketing
Ability to build LookerStudio dashboards for clients
Either 4 days a week (30 hours per week) or full-time role (37.5 hours per week)
Flexi-time between 8am to 8pm, as long as you serve clients and your team members with an excellent service and in a professional manner
Completely remote, excluding 4 x mandatory team meet ups each year
Occasional travel for conferences, training, and meetings
Good WiFi connection is essential
Camera-always-on rule for video meetings, therefore ‘backdrop’ and video presentation skills must be of a high quality (support can be provided in this area if needed)
