On-the-pulse copywriting support to aid a stretched in-house marketing team.

BrandLoyalty is a customer loyalty specialist who works with global retailers, partners, and individual shoppers to provide the best experience for customers and change shoppers' behaviours. The Marketing Director approached Monday Clicks to support their stretched marketing team with insightful and easy-to-digest copy that would attract the attention of clients and prospective clients.

The customer loyalty brand required monthly content that they could turn into a newsletter asset that would position the brand as leaders in the industry. The ongoing project meant our copywriting team had to always be on-the-pulse with the retail industry, and the quick turnaround nature of the task required Monday Clicks to be agile and focused.

The newsletter asset required approximately 25 to 30 hot-off-the-press stories every month, which meant our team had to be up to speed with industry happenings 24/7. Because it was key that BrandLoyalty impressed clients and prospects with its insights and knowledge, it was essential to create the newsletter content as close to launch date as possible.

Every month our team worked around the clock to write engaging and punchy short-form copy in a tight timeframe to ensure our work was new and relevant. Developing the newsletter's monthly theme and writing catchy headlines was key to draw readers in. It was also essential that we summed up each piece of news in under 100 words, which was a welcomed challenge for our copy team who has BBC news bulletin experience.
