How did you get into digital marketing?

I’ve always been a bit of an enthusiast for anything digital so it would be fair to say my passion for digital marketing began at a young age. I studied marketing and straight after my studies I landed a role with a business that meant I worked closely with an external marketing agency. 

I found myself constantly sharing ideas with the agency and getting involved in their campaigns. With many of my ideas resulting in successful campaigns, the business owners offered me the opportunity to build an in-house marketing team, and I jumped at the chance! I then built my own marketing team, covering everything from design to social media, and helped the business double the amount of high street locations they had, whilst tripling their annual turnover. It was a fast-paced journey, but it laid the foundation for my career in digital marketing.

What's the best thing about your job?

I love showing people that compelling copy can make a massive impact online. You don’t always need to pour money into paid adverts to see results. It's so satisfying to see the lightbulb moment when clients realise the true potential (and value!) of well-crafted content.

What's your career highlight to date?

One of the biggest highlights of my career is helping a client win a major industry award for their marketing seven years in a row. I led the digital marketing strategy, created the copy, designed a visually compelling brochure, and developed a multimedia presentation that included built-in video players to really impress the judges. Managing the entire process was incredibly rewarding, especially when the client consistently took home the gold year after year!

What's your favourite aspect about working at Monday Clicks?

It’s definitely the people and the environment. We’ve got a friendly team and fantastic clients, plus the flexibility is a huge perk. It’s more like being part of a family than just a group of colleagues. It makes every day enjoyable and fulfilling.
